It’s really surprising that I’ve been covering ace of diamond for a year. Granted it should have been finished, a while back. Since I’m a lazy blogger, I just dragged it out.
For most of the first half, the episode deals with how Sawamura is blaming himself, since he feels like he is unworthy and Chris should be the one to be picked. So, to become “strong” for him, Eijun over works himself. Which is understandable from those that know him to be concerned for his health. It took Yuu (Chris) to step in and remind Sawamura to not be like him, over working and ignoring injuries. I do like that little prank that Miyuki played on Eijun though, tricking him in to thinking that all the other guys are going to jump him, and thinks he can take them all on. But on a note, that scene where he and Yuu, I found it pretty touching.
It’s quite nice to see some of the third years pitching in and helping out the first string. Hilarious to see both Eijun and Furuya’s reaction when Chris told them to know more about baseball than the rest of the team. I think they both realised they are well beaten on that front. Speaking on the different personalities and traits, Miyuki says something which is very apparent; Eijun despite his idiosyncrasies, he is always surrounded by people, in other words they are drawn to him. Whilst Satoru (Furuya) is always on his own. Doing his own thing. This I pointed out in an earlier post. To be pointed out in this episode, forgive me for hooting my horn for getting it right on the money. I do think Satoru will eventually be part of that circle that he actually longs for.
I’m always laughing whenever it comes to outfield + Eijun. He always gets shouted at by Maezono for just being lost. And his catching 😂🤣😂🤣😂. Satoru is even worse 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣. The training seems like it is brutal – they did call it the training camp from hell after all. All that running, from what I can see you need to have a high level of stamina and then some. I’m just surprised that Eijun, Furuya and Haruchi managed it. Considering their level of stamina is below everyone else’s. Aside from the training, not much else to really note on.
Pretty enjoyed this episode of ace of diamond
I enjoyed this episode, especially the Chris and Eijun scene that is touching, it also showed that Sawamura is ready to move forwards. One thing I didn’t mention above, Satoru remarks that Miyuki has a twisted personality, something I didn’t give much thought till now. I know in the early episode he tricked Sawamura to make a dash for the line for being late, yet he gets away with being late. I just passed it off as his cheeky quirk. Does it bother me? nope. I still see it as a cheeky quirk. Also, Tanba seems to be making his own battery with someone else, that seems interesting. Next epi awaits!.
